The EMEA Tax Controller will be part of the EMEA Controllership Tax Team, which is primarily responsible for keeping Amdocs’ EMEA businesses compliant with various tax laws and regulations across the region. The scope of responsibilities relating to this position mainly covers areas of compliance, analysis, tax planning, research and process improvement.
What will your job look like?
The successful candidate will be joining a high performance tax team, which is looking after the tax affairs of a challenging and important group of EMEA entities within the Amdocs group, which is listed on the NASDAQ and has entities spread across the globe. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to build up their experience in a fast-paced multinational environment in a truly global, established tech company. Key responsibilities
1. Responsible for handling tax matters across all tax heads (including Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, VAT, Employment Taxes) for a diverse allocation of legal entities in the EMEA region
2. Signing off on profitability, annual tax provisions and tax disclosures for inclusion in statutory financial statements
3. Prepare and review income and deferred tax provisions for legal entities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for quarterly US GAAP group reporting purposes
4. Handling all aspects of tax audits and controversy for assigned entities for all tax heads, as required
5. Manage relationships with external tax agents and advisors
6. Liaising with the Treasury Department in respect of tax collection/payment forecasts and entity funding requirements
7. Interacting and collaborating with multiple stakeholders within the global organization, like Finance Business Partners, Legal, Treasury, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, HR, as required
8. Active engagement in critical group tax planning projects, group reorganizations, financing initiatives, research into changes in tax laws across the region
9. Supporting the preparation and filing of transfer pricing documentation in the region
10. Apply a mindset of continuous development and contributing to the improvement of internal policies and procedures
All you need is...
Experience and Attributes
1. Tax experience built up in a tax practice or an in-house tax department of a multinational company
2. Good verbal and written communication skills, with a team player mindset
3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office product suite, MS Excel specifically
4. Familiarity with ERP system desirable but not essential
Credentials
1. Tax Professional with at least 2 years of PQE
2. Industry experience - advantage
3. ACCA/ACA qualified - advantage
